For over 20 years now, the Selland Family has been committed to promoting local and sustainable growers, farmers, and ranchers, and to creating fresh, honest and innovative dishes featuring the highest quality seasonal and regionally sourced ingredients at Ella and its sister restaurants, The Kitchen and Selland’s Market Café.

At Ella Dining Room and Bar, we continue our family’s tradition of cooking and dining that celebrates the joys of food, friends, family and community with fresh and seasonal, straightforward New American and French-style cooking featuring entrees of seafood, steaks, and pastas, many small plates, salads, a fresh cold seafood bar with oysters, shrimp and more, an award winning wine list, handcrafted artisanal cocktails, in-house desserts, a lounge area, a patio for al fresco dining and an open kitchen.

Ella is just a block from the State Capitol in the heart of a bustling and vibrant downtown and is leading the way in the growing locavore movement by offering real, excellent, honest food served in a warm inviting setting, sourced mainly from the locally based community of farmers, ranchers, growers, and artisans.
